Branding work for Covilla Technologies – a new Shanghai based startup providing a turn-key business for research labs. Clients include Chinese organisations and several western multi-nationals.
To combine western design aesthetics with traditional chinese values, cultural understanding was key. The identity created focusses on lucky numbers and colours which are not only auspicious and symbolise good fortune; but are also deeply ingrained in the culture.
